This beauty of a walk leads between two of the most picturesque villages in the Cotswolds — Stanton and Snowshill — over hilltops, down valleys and through shaded woodlands, rewarded by warm pubs and some of the most splendid views in the country.
- Distance: 6 miles / 9.7 km (shorter route 2½ miles / 4 km)
- Duration: 3½–4½ hrs (shorter 1½–2½ hrs)
- Difficulty: Moderate, with some steep sections and stiles
- Start / finish: Stanton — OS grid SP 067 343, postcode WR12 7NG
- Parking: Parish Council car park by the cricket ground on the main road out of the village (please don't park in the village centre)
- Refreshments: pub at Stanton (the Mount Inn); pub at Snowshill and café at Snowshill Manor
