The shorter version of the Stanton walk: a 2½-mile (4 km) loop from the honey-stone village of Stanton up the Cotswold escarpment past the Iron Age hillfort at Shenberrow, with awe-inspiring views over Stanton and across the Severn Vale into Wales, before dropping back to the village beside the Mount Inn.
- Distance: 2½ miles / 4 km
- Duration: 1½–2½ hrs
- Difficulty: Moderate, with some steep sections and stiles

- Parking: Parish Council car park by the cricket ground on the main road out of the village
