Description
A beautiful little walk through one of England's most treasured habitats — beech woodland — to Cooper's Hill, site of the Cotswolds' most daring tradition, cheese-rolling. It takes in the cathedral-like calm of Buckholt Wood, carpeted with bluebells in May, and the wildflower-rich Cranham Common.
- Distance: 4 miles / 6.5 km
- Duration: 2–3 hrs
- Difficulty: Easy, no stiles but some moderately steep sections
- Start / finish: car park on the outskirts of Cranham — OS grid SO 893 131, postcode GL4 8HP
