Description
A breathtaking walk over open hilltops, streams and woodland on Cleeve Common — the highest point in the Cotswolds and one of the country's finest limestone-grassland habitats, rich in wildflowers and butterflies. The route drops past 17th-century Postlip Hall, climbs back up by deserted Wontley Farm, and runs along the escarpment edge past some of the finest views in England.
- Distance: 6 miles / 9.7 km (shorter route 4 miles / 6.4 km)
- Duration: 3½–4½ hrs (shorter 2–3 hours)
- Difficulty: Moderate, no stiles but some steep sections
